Stay Put.

“But how can you walk away from something and still come back to it?”

“Easy,” said the cat. “Think of somebody walking around the world. You start out walking away from something and end up coming back to it.

-Coraline, by Neil Gaiman

Sometimes, we’re too obsessed with getting over or moving on from someone or something, we end up doing exactly the opposite thing.

If you really want to forget about things, don’t think about forgetting.

Just forget.

And it will simply happen. :)

Autobots, move out!

Movie date with Jen and Kara earlier.

Still hung-over Transformers. Hahahaha. On the way home, I kept on imagining that the cards along EDSA will sooner or later transform. Mox and I even agreed that when Jeepneys transform, they would be armed with “good morning towels” on they shoulders and tsinelas on their feet.

The kilig was there while I was watching the movie. Not because of the love story, but because of the super duper mega cool transforming sequences.

The only thing I didn’t like much about the movie was the lack of character development for the Transformers. Well, yeah, the Autobots were introduced by Optimus Prime and their funny backyard scene kinda highlighted their characters, but still, it felt too abrupt to me. The Decepticons even, as they were not introduced. They just popped up with their “(insert Decepticon name here) reporting” lines after Starscream sent signals, for crying out loud.

But still, the movie was awesome. I mean, who wouldn’t enjoy watching a car, or a plane, or a truck turn into a gigantic robot? And these robots then smash each other! Oyeah

I’ll be waiting for the sequel. :D

Sana pati Gundam Wing gawan nila ng ganitong live-action movie… Robotech na rin!!!

EDIT: Speed Racer movie adaptation in 2008! OH YEAH

Look Out! Here Comes the Spider-man

Honestly, Spider-man 3 wasn’t that awesome. I only liked it because it was something Spider-Man.

Spider-man is my favorite superhero. If you knew me back from my childhood, you’d know that I was very very very addicted to Spider-Man comics. I was even addicted to the game Maximum Carnage just because it featured Spider-Man. Lol.

Anyways. Sources said that there would be around 3 more sequels, after the movie persons renew their contracts.

Hmm.

I wish somewhere in those episodes, Carnage would appear, and Spider-Man and Venom team up against him, just like in the old comic books and video games.

Step Up

My balls hurt…

*jump* *jump* *jump*

Well, that’s what you get for riding a tricycle that has a driver who doesn’t know what brakes are. Effing humps. From Philcoa to my house, there are around three humps. Hulaan niyo kung bakit ko nabilang. ;p

Anyways, watched ‘Step Up’ with Aya in SM NE’s The Block. Hahaha. Loved the place. Parang The Podium sa tabi ng MegaMall. Movie wasn’t as feel good as ‘Take the Lead’ but still good, nonetheless. Although medyo pareho sila ng ‘Take the Lead’ pero parang ginawa lang na ballet. Hahaha.

Nagpakabata sa Fully Booked ng The Block. Read some Dr. Seuss aloud, along with The Velveteen Rabbit, The Snowman and Wacky Wednesday. Mukha kaming ewan… Pero fun pa rin. Haha ^_^

Il Mare

Bobo na ako. Wala na akong utak.

Stuck in an endless timeloop…

The problem with Korean movies is that you tend to mix up their names and get lost in the events. Lalu na sa palabas na ito, where events are so nakakabobo relative to the time loop ekek.

(See? Bobo na ako. I don’t even know what I’m saying.)

But don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed Il Mare. :) It’s the thinking and the symbolisms and the names that consumed my brain. And of course, the ending din. :p

Cinemalaya Shorts

XD Wahahaha. So, rush, rush, rush!

I hurried to Cine Adarna, kasi baka maka-miss ako ng isang short film (eh kasi short eh).

Highlights of the night (na baka kami lang ni Aya ang makaintindi, haha):

Moral lesson ng first film: ‘Wag magpapaturo magyosi.

Bawal umihi dito. Pero sige lang boys, ihi lang.

After 10 years: “Kayo na naman?!”

After 10 years: “Pilo, gusto mo ng Zesto?”

Malungkot yung last film.

XD Had a great time. :)

Here’s to Cinemalaya shorts!

Sana ay makilala kang muli… Tulad ng dati…

Ano’ng ginagawa sa bagay na nawawala?
Hihanahap.
Anong gagawin mo kung hindi mo mahanap?
Papalitan.
E pano kung hindi mo mapalitan?
Kakalimutan.

TATANGGAPIN.

Watched Cinemalaya’s Tulad ng Dati in Cine Adarna this evening.

WOW. As in WOW. No wonder it won best film. You guys HAVE to watch it.

I heart Zoe. Kahit 13 years old ka lang, cute ka pa rin. Hehehe. XD
