My kind

So here goes my obligatory entry for Burger King. But no, I’m not writing about them because they treated me along with 49 other bloggers (+3 companions each) free breakfasts, lunches, dinners, whatev. I’ve been meaning to write about their service after Josie and I’s visit to the newly renovated and revolutionized SM North Edsa branch a few months ago. But I’ve put it on hold since first, I didn’t have pictures, and second, I’ve been quite a bit lazy when it comes to blogging these days.

Anyways. Let’s quit it with the introductions, and start with the reason why I like, no, LOVE the new Burger King.

It caters to my kind.

What kind?

The laptop toting, WiFi surfing, PSP playing, iPod listening and cellphone texting kind.

When Love Drives You Sane

One of the best pieces I’ve read. Hands down to Gian Abrahan.

I’m not really sure as to whom was he writing for in his piece, but wow, the piece made me smile. And I know that that the kind of love he was describing is the kind of love that will last.

You are the one I love and have loved the most, and the only one I have sanely loved. Often I am bothered that I have never gone head over heels for you; that I don’t fall off my seat at the sight of you; that I do not stutter whenever we talk; nor do butterflies float in my stomach whenever we talk. You do not give me sleepless night nor sweet dreams. I love you so sanely it disturbs me.

I am confused at the realization that of all that I have loved, only with you have I not cried a river of tears. You simply make me smile – - you have never even taken my breath away.
